We are looking for a motivated, curious and enterprising manager to join us at our Operations Headquarter in Agordo (BL), where the history of our Company got started.

As Automation Manager of Agordo Plant your mission is to coordinate a team of engineers and to manage from the start to the final application all the projects related to:

• Automatic machines developed by external supplier (Buy)

• Automatic machines and prototype developed internally (Make)

The focus is on achieving the goals of the projects, monitoring costs, ensuring timing and quality requirements and guaranteeing KPIs achievements defined with Production Team and Plants Direction.

Here some activities and responsibilities you will be doing:

• Define Plant Business Plan for all the new automatic machines (Installation phase) or modifications of already installed machines in order to obtain economic benefit for the plant.

• Guarantee the project timeline, analyzing and monitoring KPIs status of progress to the achieve the required technical performances.

• Monitor performance of installed machines with specific focus on Efficiency improvement and propose new solutions for automatization of production flow.

• Coordinate team’ activities and assign correct priority based on company strategy.

• Manage and lead project team with external suppliers and Luxottica plants from other regions with the aim to anticipate needs and develop benchmark.

• Select and develop new automation and equipment suppliers in accordance with purchasing policy and strategies.

• Coordinate the supplier offer request, the technical feasibility, the economic aspects and manage the suppliers sourcing process.

• Monitor and communicate risks of decisions related to the implementation of projects.

• Quality check of products and ensure quality standards.

• You have built a solid experience as a Project Manager for projects related to Industrial Automations and Robots (you know Project management tools, i.e. Gantt, OIL…)

• You are passionate about the technology trends to enable Automations processes and outcomes, and have technical skills related to developing and monitoring automatic machines

• You have strong facilitation and communication skills, you are able to present information to all levels of the organization

• You can analyse and manage KPIs for performance monitoring of automatic machines

• You have at least 5/6 years of experience on similar role and managerial experience

• You are capable to work under pressure and timely delivering tasks

• You are apable to work on several tasks simultaneously

• You are oriented to digitalization and information technologies

• You are fluent in Italian and English

• You are available to move abroad if there's the chance!
