Fedex Corporate Services Customer Experience Strategic Support Analyst in Akron, Ohio

Job Description Summary: Under general supervision, utilizes available resources to design, develop and implement cost effective, supply chain solutions to support customer needs and resolve customer experience issues. Supports projects that directly impact the customer journey driving quantified value-add solutions for both the customer and FedEx. Analyzes customer and service performance data to support strategic solution development. Maintains positive, effective relationships with key internal and external contacts including presentation of analytical results and solution recommendations to stakeholders on a regular cadence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Review and resolve any data accuracy including valuation, country of origin, unit of measure, classification. Interact with internal and third parties to obtain any supporting documents for import clearance activity. Support reconciliation processes. Ensuring import activities comply with government laws and regulations. Define, enable, run and operate processes and systems as related to customs import controls. Maintain processes, controls, record keeping and audit preparation regarding import entry. Apply quality principles to identify process improvement opportunities, determine available options, implementation strategies and make recommendations to management. Some travel may be required. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. Two (2) years work experience in external customer problem resolution. Demonstrated knowledge of business software applications. Good interpersonal skills. Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus: Coordination of air and ocean shipments - including booking, planning, document preparation, and tracking Customs import controls and clearance experience. Certified Export Specialist (CES) Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) Master Export Specialist (MES) Customs Broker License (CBL) Quality improvement certification and/or experience such as QDM, Six Sigma, Total Quality Management or related Work/Domicile Location(s): Desired location(s) for these positions would be Memphis, Tennessee; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Houston, Texas; Plano, Texas; Harrison, Arkansas or Akron, Ohio; however, positions may be located anywhere within the United States. Additional InformationSalary Range Estimate: Monthly Salary: $4,212.00 - $7,501.00. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role.
