Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for procurement and supply chain management? Do you possess a strategic mindset and a proven track record of driving cost savings while maintaining quality standards? If so, we want you to join our team as Purchasing Administrator! You will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that optimize cost-efficiency and ensure the availability of high-quality materials and services. You will oversee all aspects of the purchasing process, from supplier selection and negotiation to contract management and supplier performance evaluation.

salary: $45 - $50 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Procurement Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and efficiency across the organization.

  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers. Build and maintain meaningful relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and managing ongoing performance.

  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Draft (with the assistant of the City's attorney's office), review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors. Ensure contracts are in compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards. Manage the entire lifecycle of contracts, from initiation through to renewal or termination.

  • RFP, RFQ, & ITB Coordination: Lead the process for issuing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Qualification (RFQs) and Invitations to Bid (ITBs), including drafting documents, evaluating submissions, and selecting suppliers.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment with the organization's strategic goals.

  • Budget Management and Cost Analysis: Oversee procurement budgeting and perform cost analysis to identify opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements.

  • Procurement: Oversee the procurement process from identifying needs, issuing purchase orders, tracking orders, to receiving goods and services. Ensure purchases comply with company policies and standards.
