Job Summary

The Regional Vice President is a genuine, business savvy professional with strong financial acuity who is skilled in communication and relationship building. The RVP must live within one of the following areas: IL, TN or Wisconsin. Reporting to the Division Vice President, this role will lead a team of 3 Regional Directors with oversight of 35 hospital accounts in IL, TN and Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participates in strategic planning meetings

  • Supports the development and implementation of clinical and patient service programs that meet client needs, regulatory agency requirements and meet client, patient and customer satisfaction

  • Participates in the sales process for the acquisition of new business. Coordinates the development of proposals and contracts. Prepares and conducts presentations to prospective clients

  • Conducts Team meetings with Regional Team Members to discuss current objectives. Prepares agendas and conducts training sessions and presentations on issues regarding quality, safety and human resources

  • Visits units regularly to inspect unit operations to ensure contract compliance. Participates in C.A.R.E audits

  • Collaborates with existing clients to maintain client satisfaction and account retention

  • Resolves client, patient and customer satisfaction or employee related complaints which have been elevated from Regional Directors of Operations. Works with legal and human resources to obtain procedures for various customer and employee related charges

  • Conducts appropriate annual and semi-annual performance evaluations

  • Completes all daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in the corporate policy and procedures on a timely basis meeting all prescribed timelines

  • Projects and practices consistent ownership attributes, which provide a high level of customer service at all points of contact

  • Participates in Patient Visitation rounds with account management team during each site visit

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred

  • Minimum of two years' multi-unit/regional/district level experience with at least 10 accounts in environmental services

  • Healthcare experience required; internal experience within non-healthcare Sectors of Compass considered

  • Strong background in a senior leadership role with exposure to contract management, customer service, people development, food services, etc

  • Must have a consistent record and knowledge of growing a business

  • Exhibits strong communication, presentation, listening, and analytical skills

  • Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, and maintain organization in a changing environment

  • Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership

  • Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Extensive travel required in this position, estimated at approximately 50-75%
