Senior Specialist, Business Development – New Zealand and Pacific Islands

Join Western Union as a Business Development Senior Specialist overseeing New Zealand and the Pacific Islands region.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing key stakeholders, and identifying and developing opportunities within the region to achieve our business targets.

You will be reporting into the Country business leader for New Zealand and Pacific Islands based in Auckland, New Zealand. You will travel occasionally within the Pacific region and globally and you will take full ownership of the following:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth by developing and implementing omnichannel sales, marketing and pricing strategies.

  • Manage key external and internal stakeholders, including C-suite level.

  • Direct accountability for revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets.

  • Build, review and analyse performance data and competitive data to support business strategies and decisions.

  • Support launch of new digital products and maintain and expand ecosystem partnerships across New Zealand and the Pacific and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

  • Collaborate with globalcross-functional teamsto drive processimprovements,efficiencies, and

compliance.

Role Requirements:

  • To be successful in this role you will have at least 5 years of experience in Client Relationship Management, Sales and/or Marketing.

  • You have significant experience with digital products, ideally in financial services.

  • You exhibit high energy, curiosity and show enthusiasm to drive business growth and deliver consistent results.

  • Experience analysing large amounts of data and creating insights and strategies.

  • Experience in managing complex projects.

  • Strong business acumen, understanding and a growth mindset.

  • Experience in direct-to-consumer business across retail channels and digital channels is highly desirable.

  • Experience working with the Pacific region is desirable but not necessary.
