We are currently hiring a Marketing Automation Specialist to be based in India.

Within this role you will

Develop and administer lead nurturing process within marketing automation tool Pardot. In coordination with Global Marketing team and country leads, devises ongoing campaigns for prospect with highly targeted messaging. The Marketing Automation specialist leads X-Rite’s efforts to build awareness, thought leadership and lead generation through E-Mail campaigns and online nurturing. Preference to Pardot experience will be considered on priority.

Working with Global Marketing Managers, the marketing automation specialist will design, execute and analyze e-mail marketing campaigns based on provided content. This will include creating landing pages for each campaign. Campaigns will target all aspects of our business – equipment and software sales, training, parts and service. Execution of these email campaigns will require close collaboration with global marketing leaders including proper list suppression to target appropriate customers and non-customers.

The position will also be responsible for developing nurturing campaigns for non-sales ready contacts. These nurturing campaigns will leverage online activity to target visitors with relevant content to establish an ongoing conversation with the prospect ultimately leading to a qualified lead.

The ideal candidate is analytical, energetic and has experience working with e-mail marketing, database management and has a basic knowledge of PPC (pay per click), SEO (search engine optimization) and landing page design and SMO (Social Media Marketing).

Key Responsibilities

  • Creates e-mail campaigns in marketing automation tool Pardot at direction of Global Marketing Team and Regional Marketing Manager.

  • Creates landing pages within marketing automation tool in support of e-mail campaigns.

  • Develops and administers lead nurturing process within marketing automation tool Pardot. In coordination with Global Marketing team and country leads, devises ongoing campaigns for prospect with highly targeted messaging.

  • Organize and consolidate country contact lists in marketing database, including ongoing database expansion and hygiene

Requirements for the Position

  • Education – 4 year college degree preferred.

  • Work experience:

  • 1+ years marketing experience in a for-profit (preferably B2B) organization

  • 1+ years’ experience managing Pardot e-mail marketing campaign including development of email and tracking and analysis of results will be a plus

  • 1+ years’ experience developing and optimizing landing pages for email will be a plus

  • Knowledge of PPC and SEO will be a plus.

  • Experience with web content management systems will be a plus

  • Experience with Salesforce

  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management systems – mostly about customer and prospect database development & management and lead generation

  • Proven track record of growing leads and sales through online marketing

  • Experience working in a matrixed team organization

Skills required:

  • Knowledge of HTML

  • Excellent leadership and project management skills

  • Demonstrate commercial acumen

  • Proficiency in Excel

  • Fluency in English – spoken and written

  • Level of travel required: Minimal (<10%).
