Overview:

This position is for Advanced Structures Electronics team. Candidate to be expert in Software V&V. Good knowledge in software development is preferred.

Position: Principal Engineer (P4)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Experience in defining Verification & Validation strategies. Verification of software requirements using different verification methods.

  • Experience in both Application and driver verification. Should be an expert in test Environment Setup

  • Experience in different analysis methods like Structural coverage analysis, Data coupling and Control Coupling, Stack Analysis, and other analysis methods as per DO178C

  • Experience in Certification audits as per DO178C

  • Exp. in software development for real-time embedded Application is an advantage

  • Experience in defining the development environment and Design/Verification methodologies

  • Well versed with requirement management. UML/SysML will be an added advantage

  • Strong troubleshooting skills

  • Strong C, C++ and Ada programming skills and well versed with MISRA or equivalent guidelines.

  • Hands on experience with standard communication protocols like ARINC, CAN, SPI, Ethernet

  • Responsible for on time delivery and quality. Identify flags and handle escalations. Review all deliverables / reports generated by the team and suggest improvements.

  • Working with multi-disciplinary teams such as project engineering, software engineering, electrical design, safety and reliability

  • Broad exposure to a wide variety of tools and understand purpose and application of tools to the software life cycle phases.

  • Consistently estimate effort and specify schedules for software development and V&V activities.

  • Collect metrics and monitor progress of all activities.

  • Manages, develops, and motivates a team, play a vital role as Discipline Chief

  • Should have defined V&V Methodology for DO178

  • Leads departmental initiatives to enhance organization process improvements.

Qualification:

  • BE/Masters in CS/E&C/Electrical with 10+ Years’ experience

  • Solid communication, writing skills and teaming skills are a must.

  • Ability to travel internationally for occasional design review meetings with peers / customers and system level of integration activities.

  • Good communication and team building capabilities

  • Experience on Agile project execution.
