Required education and certifications critical for the role-
Graduate, numerate degree preferred such as Mathematics / Statistics / Economics
Fully qualified or should have cleared atleast 11 actuarial exams as per new curriculum (preferred)

What the day will look like
Supporting Appointed actuary engagements
Actuarial pricing and portfolio mix support
IFRS 17 GI client projects and remediation
Client finance and actuarial transformation including the utilization of ReMetrica and Tyche implementations and managed service arrangements.
Mergers, Acquisition and Market Entry
Captive IFRS 17 support managed service
One-off IFRS 17 Captive set-up including technical accounting papers, policies and processes.
How this opportunity is different
The role will provide support to the Head of Actuarial STG APAC in relation to leading and developing the origination, sale and delivery of actuarial consulting services to new and existing General Insurance clients in APAC.
The role will assist in the hiring, training and management of STG junior actuarial staff in India and the wider APAC region.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Candidates should be educated to degree level and be a qualified actuary with at least 12 years of actuarial experience.
Prior experience in a consulting role with a big four accounting firm.
Prior experience should include leading workstreams of multi-million USD finance and actuarial transformation engagements.
Prior experience in terms of selling consulting services.
