About the Function
The Supply Financial Controlling and Analysis team is a truly global and diversified department. We are adding value through the end-to-end Supply Chain from the consumer to the supplier. We are playing a big part in making our brands as we source, distill, brew, pack, and ship.
Here you can be truly connected to our brands and can get an insight into Procurement sourcing strategy and support their work with financials. You can be the Finance business partner to the Production sites and the Logistics team moving finished goods from the factories to the warehouse, then to the distributors or consumers.
We are looking for a colleague to join our Africa team covering the Financial Control and FP&A activities for Supply processes.
About the Role
It’s very important in this role to be able to build rock solid business partnering relationships. You will work on the annual planning and monthly closing and forecasting activities, but above all, your role is to ensure that you deliver solid insight at all times.
In order to succeed in this role, you’d have a proven track record of working with SAP, an analytical mind, working efficiently in a team and managing business partners at all levels, resulting in positive outcomes.
Management of the respective Profit and Loss & Balance sheet area from accounting, reporting and controlling perspective
Support delivery of monthly management reporting processes (various reports, O&R, cash flow reporting and forecasting)
Support decision making by providing accurate, through and timely analysis and generating insights
Provide input into monthly business performance decks
Support the preparation and submission of the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan
Prepare accruals to ensure the month-end results show the clear and fair picture
Build relationships with key stakeholders and act as support where required
About You
University or College degree in Finance and Accountancy or Economics
4+ years of experience in Finance or Supply/Production Finance / Financial Controlling
Fluent English
Strong MS Excel skills
Knowledge of systems – SAP, Anaplan, BFC – is an advantage
Good communication and business partnering skills
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, attention to details
Willing to learn and develop yourself
