The Opportunity

Delaware North is hiring a Director of Marketing to join our team in Buffalo, New York. The Director of Marketing is a key role in Delaware North’s Sportservice division, a global leader in sports hospitality services, including food, beverage, retail, and premium in more than 50 venues worldwide. We are seeking a dynamic marketing professional who will be instrumental in developing marketing strategy, messaging, advertising, industry events, win themes, and presentations to promote and showcase Delaware North’s value proposition, thought leadership, and world-class fan experiences to existing and prospective client audiences.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $104100 - $140500 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities

• Develop marketing strategy, compelling messaging and creative, and win themes to secure new client contracts/RFPs, engage and retain current clients, and promote Delaware North Sportservice in the industry.

• Develop and execute annual marketing plans, including advertising and industry events, in collaboration with internal marketing teams including creative services, digital marketing, communications, operations, business development, and external agencies as needed.

• Create engaging content for current and prospective clients, ensuring alignment with strategic messaging and objectives.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to create and deliver winning bids, developing narrative and format for written proposals and oral presentations.

• Analyze consumer, market, and industry insights applicable to marketing strategies and recommendations.

Qualifications

• An undergraduate marketing or related degree is required.

• Significant experience in marketing required; experience in the sports industry and B2B marketing preferred.

• Proven track record of success and a demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed organization.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role.

• Experience managing in a large public or private company is preferred.
