Job Summary:

The Project Fulfillment Manager will lead the project fulfillment processes and report to the APAC Region Projects & Services Leader of GE Vernova Solar & Storage Solutions business.

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage Solar Power and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Projects and Services.

  • Drive customer satisfaction through effective communication, contract compliance, and meeting expectations with respect to safety, quality and delivery.

  • Meet GEV business expectations by managing safety, quality, schedule, cost, margin, cash flow, and risks.

  • Validate supply scope Bill of Materials & Budget coordinating with internal functions of Engineering, Supply chain and Sourcing.

  • Issue Quote and obtain Purchase Orders from business entities and coordinate for order booking.

  • Monitor manufacturing progress through weekly review rhythms and facilitate for resolution of issues for On Time Delivery.

  • Coordinate for Shipment and execute financial process for export of finished goods.

  • Responsible for collation and submission of documents for Revenue Recognition and Cash Collection.

  • Expedite equipment and parts shortages by interfacing across business functions.

  • Communicate project goals, deliverables, strategies, risks, and opportunities as required internally within GEV.

  • Collaborate with internal GEV functions and business entities to manage product deliveries.

  • Promote a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve excellence in all project management metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or supply chain/sourcing/science is preferred.

  • 8 12 years of experience in project management, supply chain management, or engineering experience

  • Familiarity with advanced Excel and ERPs like SAP and/or Oracle are requested.

  • Fluent in the English language; oral and written, technical and commercial.

  • Proven track record of leading multi-cultural teams

  • Strong interpersonal and influence skills

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • SAP experience mandatory as all transactions are through SAP.

  • Lean continuous improvement experience

Additional Details:

  • Position is based in Chennai, India, and up to 10% travel is required.
