Job Description
The Logistics Administrator is responsible for all administrative aspects of the warehouse, as well as inventory management. This includes but is not limited to the distribution and receipt of materials, merchandise, and all other products received in the warehouse, as well as supporting the production and shipping of project materials. The Logistics Administrator plays a crucial role in maintaining an organized and streamlined warehouse operation.
Essential Duties
Responsible for supporting and maintaining all administrative aspects of the warehouse
Facilitate the efficient and accurate receipt of goods and materials, ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed promptly and accurately
Responsible for inventory control, including maintaining accurate inventory records of all goods and products stored in the warehouse, as well as any inventory movements
Forecast and monitor individual component inventory, and send low and out-of-stock notices to Warehouse management
Complete end-of-run inventory counts on all remaining components and provide documentation to appropriate parties upon completion of all projects
Receive all incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and shipping documentation, as well as taking pictures of all components, logging measurements, and ensuring components are damage-free
Pick and package smaller orders personally, while working with Warehouse management to assist in the picking and shipping of larger palletized orders
Create, review, monitor, and maintain required documentation for client projects
Communicate all relevant information related to receipt, ordering, and variance of project inventory, including materials needed to complete the project and confirmation that the correct materials have been received as required by project
Provide office support for the entire Warehouse team
Retain all receiving records in an orderly manner
Maintain a clean and orderly Warehouse area, ensuring it is free from safety hazards
Other tasks and duties that may arise to meet Driveline’s business needs

Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Minimum of one year of experience in a similar position
Familiarity with warehousing practices and methods a plus
Language Ability Requirements
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence, technical procedures, and policies. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
Math Ability Requirements
Basic math skills for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios and apply these concepts to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability Requirements
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and email. A strong background in Excel is preferred.

The work environment characteristics are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. Work is performed in a typical warehouse environment and the noise level in the environment is typically moderate to loud.
