We specialize in cancer care, cardiology, neurosciences, women’s services and emergency medicine. Texas Health Dallas is a joint Commission-certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, a Level I Trauma Center, a Comprehensive Heart Attack Center and a designated Magnet hospital. We’re a top choice in North Texas for cancer and emergency services, bariatric services, cardiac care and much more.

Job Duties

Growth: Development of strategic relationships within the surrounding community in order to successfully recruit and increase the current volunteer staff of adult volunteers and a successful summer student program.

Service Excellence: Management of volunteer Coordinator and Administrative Assistant in order to ensure quality service of department deliverables and service to volunteers and guests. Management, in partnership with the Volunteer Coordinator, of volunteer staffed areas, including but not limited to the information desks, surgery waiting room, flower room and summer student program addressing staffing needs, communication and problem solving.

Quality: Provide development of volunteers through service excellence trainings and job specific trainings. Participation in other activities to bring enrichment to professional growth and service to department.

Relationships: Manage successful training for employees and volunteers. Schedule, plan and coordinate annual Volunteer Recognition Banquet.

Finance: Exhibits fiscal responsibility by working within budget limits to provide quality departmental operational needs and monitors growth within department to define future needs of department.

Education

H.S. Diploma or equivalent required

Bachelor's Degree in Business, heath care related, or other relevant field preferred

Experience

3 years relevant healthcare, non-profit, or administrative experience required

1 year Supervisory and/or volunteer management experience preferred
