East Rochester Schools “The Home of Champions” is recruiting for our next anticipated athletic director/high school assistant principal. This 12-month administrative position is part of a three-person administrative team at the 6-12 level supporting students, their families, and our staff on our small school suburban, K-12 campus. Recently certified administrators with an athletic background and individuals with completed educational administrative coursework yet require a certificate of internship will be considered.

The ideal candidate will have successful secondary teaching experience, have coached varsity-level athletic teams, and demonstrate the ability to mentor coaches. Physical education certification is preferred but not required. Candidates will have knowledge of New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) rules, regulations, and guidelines. In addition, candidates are expected to demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication written and oral skills.

*Salary range from $82,000-$92,000 with consideration for experience and credentials

Job Qualifications

Valid New York State Certification in Educational Administration is required.

School Building Leader (SBL), School Administrator/Supervisor (SAS), or School District Leader (SDL)

Candidates must possess strong leadership skills.
