Continental Intern - Logistics Analyst, Year-Round in Fort Mill, South Carolina

As a Logistics Analyst Intern, you will be responsible for the following:
Building reports and visualizations in Tableau for executive summaries and operational activities
Create inventory reporting dashboards
Create a monthly report on overage tires to scrap
Create a weekly cut report
Create EMEA & Brazil import tracking report
Compile weekly DC snapshot report to give top management an overview/summary of the warehousing situation
Will focus on minimizing detention and demurrage costs for incoming products from both domestic and foreign plants
Track warehouse throughput daily
Work on creating back-end data sources using SQL server and Redshift
Create dashboards for tracking inbound freight by product group and location to ensure availability and proper timing
Create 'prioritization list' to ensure warehouse is unloading the proper trailers on a given day to maximize sales
Weekly review of warehouse volumes in and out by product group
Audit invoices from Third Party Logistics partners
Ensure that all data supplied to internal colleagues and leadership is validated and correct before distribution

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Student currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing Analytics, Business Administration, Data Science or another related field
Able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri)
Currently enrolled in school for the next 12 months and can dedicate 12 months towards this internship
Minimum Sophomore standing or higher
Morning business hour availability Monday through Friday
Must have and maintain a 2.8 GPA or higher
Proficient in MS Office, especially Word and Excel
Able to come onsite to our Fort Mill, SC Tire HQs 3 days/week (Mon-Fri)
Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills and developed math skills
Ability to stay organized while multi-tasking and handle pressure with adherence to quality and deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
