The Impact You’ll Make: As a C&B Supervisor, you will ensure staff works together as a cohesive team, optimizing service and meeting guest needs. Adhering to company safety and security policies, you will maintain high standards of uniform and personal appearance. Your role includes welcoming and acknowledging guests, anticipating and addressing their service needs, and fostering positive working relationships with your team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the smooth running of the C&B department (before, during and after service periods) and allocate daily jobs as required.

• Coach, guide and train all new and current members of staff to enable them to successfully contribute to the team objectives.

• To ensure that you and the team have a full product knowledge of all menu items, wine and drinks lists and their service.

• To ensure function areas are set as per client’s specifications as per Banquet Event Order.

• Communicate with guests, other employees, or departments to ensure guest needs are met.

• To always maintain a high standard of service within C&B Areas.

• Be responsible for security and safe handling of all equipment used within the department.

• Be responsible for department daily financial reporting.

• Maintain safety by adhering to safety policies and be responsible to report accidents immediately. Support all safety programs. Ensure that proper safety instructions are given before operating any equipment. And work in a safe manner always.

• Deal with any issues that may arise to minimise guest complaints.

The ideal candidate is a team player, fast learner, adaptable, and possesses exceptional attention to detail, interpersonal, and communication skills. You should be:

• Proactive and reliable

• Skilled in effective communication and negotiation

• Knowledgeable in cocktails, spirits, and wine

• Preferably a Responsible Service of Alcohol or Personal License Holder
