RCS is seeking a Technical Writer with 2 - 7 years of experience, a current TS/SCI polygraph clearance to join a multi-million dollar national intelligence program supporting the Cloud Investment Multi-Cloud Management (CIMM) team. As a contributor to the intelligence community’s first multi-cloud initiative, you will be at the epicenter of emergent cloud computing technologies, establishing a foundation that will evolve to include all agencies within the IC. The Policy/Technical Writer is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and composing technical information, conducting research, and ensuring the use of proper technical terminology.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud computing and technology systems and experience documenting Federal government policy and procedures. They will provide unbiased, independent advisory services on cloud services’ use, performance, and delivery.

What you will do:

• Support the development of program documents and reports by developing and updating graphics presentations to improve quality and enhance usability

• Gather, analyze, and compose technical information, conduct research, and ensure the use of proper technical terminology

• Create technical documents including user's manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.

• Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user’s manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents.

  Basic Qualifications:

• 2 - 7 years of directly relevant technical writing experience

• Clearance: Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph

• Experience translating technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel

• Experience documenting policy and procedure for the Federal government

• Knowledge of cloud computing strategies, applications, and programming

• Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media

  Desired Qualifications:

• Certification and/or demonstrated technical knowledge in multiple cloud platforms (e.g., Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, and IBM Cloud)
