Commercial Assistant

Location: Hull

The Role

To provide day to day commercial support to the Senior QS team on BOP Project TO4 to ensure that cost booking, additional work and delays are recorded / recovered from the client

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with Supervision on a day to day basis to identify delays / additional work

• Collection of CVI Forms & issue to Senior QS for review

• Recording of Daywork hours

• Pricing of Daywork Sheets

• Variation Quotes

• Upkeep of Plant Hire / Equipment Register

• Drafting of Early Warning & Compensation Events on CEMAR

• Compilation of CVI’s on central register

• Daily review of CEMAR to identify overdue deliverables & responses

• General commercial duties as stipulated by Senior QS

  Experience / Skills

• Competent Excel skills

• HNC or HND in Engineering / Building Studies

• Hard Working, punctual, enthusiastic to learn & keen to succeed with a long term career
