    Salary Statement:

    The salary for this position will be commensurate with education or work experience.

    Role Overview:

    The Senior Licensing Representative coordinates and assists with the Hoosier Lottery’s retailer licensing process. The individual communicates with new and prospective retailers in writing and over the telephone.

A Day in the Life:

The essential functions of this role are:

  • Assist with the processing of licensing paperwork for new accounts, change of ownership and renewals.

  • Assist retailers and staff with questions by way of customer hotline.

  • Maintains records of various work-related documents received and work performed in excel and company software.

  • Prepares correspondence for retailers and field office staff.

  • Assist with the development and updating of operating policies, procedures, and documentation.

  • Maintains all necessary paperwork in a retailer file (both physical & electronic).

  • Works with other state agencies to ensure clearance for new and current retailers.

  • Assist with training of new Licensing employees.

  • Processes payment vouchers as needed for the payment of company invoices.

  • Creates and receives purchase orders in the Great Plains Accounting system.

  • Processes bank changes or account updates for retailer accounts as needed.

  • Assist with the front desk receptionist duties as needed.

  • Process and maintain employee fleet records.

  • Participate in offsite company promotions as needed.

  • Process incoming and outgoing USPS and UPS mail.

What You'll Need for Success:

You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of team lead or supervisory experience,

  • Prior experience with training others in company processes is preferred.

  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.

  • Ability to use modern office equipment such as personal computer, copier, and scanner.

  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organization and accuracy skills.

  • Ability to maintain composure when working under pressure.

  • Proficiency in Word and Excel,

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:

This role may be utilized in a supervisory capacity based on agency needs.
