Our Program Management Team acting as the Owners Rep is looking to add a QA Auditor/Inspector who is highly collaborative and capable of executing and administering QA responsibilities on multiple concurrent projects for our client (NYCHA) through all phases of delivery. Based in Long Island City, NY , you’ll be a point of accountability to provide comprehensive QA oversight and compliance, audits, analysis, documentation, and reporting required during planning/design, construction, and closeout. During these phases you’ll coordinate with and advise the Project Managers on compliance matters to ensure PMO QA task compliance and /AE/CM/GC compliant with their QA/QC obligations and are well versed and adhering to their contractual reporting and document controls requirements in eBuilder, document control standards, and evaluations.

Responsibilities:

Pre-Site Visit

  • Schedules /coordinate site visit with PM/CM team members

  • Pre-Site Visit - Reviews eBuilder management interface utilizing QA matrix to assess and document PMO, AE, CM, GC contract compliance including but not limited to processes, documents, schedule, SSP, daily logs, toolbox talks, etc.

Site Visit

  • Confirms/corroborates review items found in Pre-Site Visit review.

  • Confirms contractual site documents are on site and current.

  • Shadows NYCHA CSQ Inspectors responsibilities as outlined in the CPD Procedures Manual including Safety.

  • Meets with CM/GC to review Pre-Site Visit checklist and assists in resolving found issues.

Post Visit Report

  • Utilizes eBuilder Forms/Action items to document site findings and provides timeframe for resolution.

  • Follow-up with CM/GC to confirm Action Item resolution

  • Closes out Action Item and files document

  • Stakeholder Engagement Site Visit Log

  • Participates in weekly SHE site visits

  • Documents meeting/visit

Reporting

  • Runs monthly portfolio reports utilizing established QA matrix

  • Runs monthly Missing Evaluations reports

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelor Degree in Architecture, Construction, or Engineering

  • 7 years of Construction Management experience

  • Prior construction Quality Management experience

  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification

  • Knowledge of Site Safety Plans/PHSEP

  • Ability to navigate contract documents, drawings, and specifications

  • Proficiency with eBuilder Project Management System

  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel

  • Valid State’s driver’s license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle background check

  • Able to attend site visits within five boroughs

  • Willing to learn and adjust to NYCHA CPD Procedures

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Familiarity with NYCHA contracts/Task Orders Local municipal construction experience

The base salary range for this position is $135,000 to $160,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
