Hyatt Assistant Sales Manager - Korea Market in MACAU, China

Description:

  • The Assistant Sales Manager is to demonstrate a thorough understanding and competence in sales, account management functions and the business travel industry focus in Korea and Asia markets.

  • The core responsibilities are to negotiate favorable rates with potential clients/organizations and then through proactive selling and data management drive strategic growth of such accounts while maintaining world class customer service.

  • Additional responsibilities include selling guestrooms and all hotel services to customers including but not limited to corporate accounts, travel agencies, individual travel and wholesale groups.

  • Duties include managing current and develop new accounts, may include travel to major cities within market and client entertaining on or off property.

  • Duties also include preparing and presenting effective proposals, presentations, maintaining well organized documentation and reports.

  • Utilization of Hyatt technology systems and coordination of customer service requirements with hotel operations Team as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.

  • Minimum 3 years work experience of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred.

  • Proficiency in English and Korea plus Chinese will be seen as an advantage

  • Prefer selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
