Description

The office manager is responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including managing administrative staff, overseeing office budgets, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all office operations and procedures, including administrative tasks, facilities management, and vendor relationships.

  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.

  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.

  • Coordinate with IT department to address technical issues and ensure smooth functioning of office equipment and systems.

  • Handle scheduling, coordination, and logistics for meetings, events, and travel arrangements.

  • Manage office budgets and expenses, including tracking expenditures and preparing reports.

  • Maintain and update organizational databases and filing systems.

  • Liaise with external partners, including vendors, suppliers, and clients, to address inquiries and resolve issues.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean office environment.

  • Provide support to HR department in recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations activities.

    Requirements

  • Proven experience as an office manager or similar administrative role.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.

  • Familiarity with office management software and systems.

  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and experience with budget management.

  • Professional attitude and appearance.
