Adecco US, Inc. Laboratory Technician in Miami, Florida
Adecco is currently assisting an American supplier of scientific instrumentation, reagents and consumables, and software services in recruiting for Laboratory Technician role in Miami, FL.
This position requires a person who has some knowledge of laboratory duties and/or biological sciences.
Schedule : 4 10-hour shifts - days M-Th 8am-7pm
Pay Rate: The wage for this position is between $15 and $20. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
Key Objectives of the role:
Maintenance of laboratory equipment, data entry, maintenance of laboratory records including quality control, instrument logs, and inventory of reagents and supplies.
Perform preparation of reagents and controls
Perform daily and weekly maintenance of equipment per SOPs (standard operating procedures) and any other applicable documentation
Maintain laboratory and equipment clean and functional (On the job training will be provided) • Perform all tasks related to clinical sample testing (blood, urine), including sample receipt, log-in, sample preparation and testing, recording test results, and disposing of samples • Organize stock and maintains inventory; order stock as needed
Adhere to existing safety standards and help improve laboratory safety practices whenever possible
Provide support to direct and extended R&D team as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate Degree- with 3 years' experience
4-year bachelor's degree (Chemistry, Biology, or other STEM related field) with 0-2 years' experience
Experience with urine chemistry and/or hematology diagnostic testing and instrumentation preferred

Pay Details: $15.00 to $20.00 per hour
