Medical Lab Specimen Processor
Our client is seeking a Medical Lab Specimen Processor to join their Moses Lake, WA team on a temp to hire basis working 32 hours a week from 9am to 6pm (Monday – Thursday).
The Medical Lab Specimen Processor will be responsible for the efficient, timely, and accurate collection and shipping of patient specimens. The ideal candidate must be able to efficiently utilize two electronic medical records for data entry in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities of the Medical Lab Specimen Processor
Utilizing electronic medical records to enter orders
Collecting testing and billing information
Obtaining specimens for drug testing
Preparing and packaging specimens for shipping
Completing customer service duties
Collecting payments
Ensuring adherence to company and HIPAA compliance policies as they related to patient information, billing processes, and orders
Complying with safety regulations
Requirements of the Medical Lab Specimen Processor
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 plus years of experience, ideally customer service and/or medical
Experience using EMR and computer systems for electronic ordering
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong customer service orientation
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Additional Details:
Compensation: $22.00/hr.
Work Schedule: 32 hours per week – (Monday-Thursday)
Work Hours: 9am to 6pm with 1 hour lunch break
Position: Temp to Hire
Location: Moses Lake, WA 98837 (on-site)

Salary range $22/ HR W2. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
