Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.

  • Experience launching consumer facing technology products.

  • Experience with data analysis and scripting languages (e.g., SQL or Python).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience with the Ads and Machine Learning domain.

  • Experience partnering on technical strategy and platform development.

  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As a Program Manager in the Display Ads team, you will lead strategic initiatives and initiatives that unlock business growth opportunities.

Users come first at Google. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Represent Google Display Ads product and engineering teams across Google and Ads to uncover dependencies and drive shared OKRs.

  • Partner with Engineering to drive Quality Feature improvements in models with Machine Learning training and optimization practices.

  • Manage projects from concept to launch developing and coordinating program plans, project estimates, plans, as well as tracking and metrics across multiple organizations.

  • Monitor, measure, and communicate project progress, potential risks and delays, and team performance to program teams, executives, and other sponsors.

  • Develop recommendations that translate into solutions.
