New York University Junior Research Scientist (Part-Time - PI: Dr. Evgeny Pavlov) in New York, New York

A part-time Research Scientist opportunity is available at Dr. Pavlov's laboratory at the Department of Molecular Pathobiology at New York University Dentistry. The group's primary research focus is on the investigation of cellular energy metabolism and mitochondrial function. The primary expertise of the laboratory is in studies of mitochondrial ion channels and calcium signaling using electrophysiology and imaging approaches. The use of other experimental techniques and animal models can be provided through collaborations with other laboratories.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is $30.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.

Qualified applicants must possess Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or closely related field is required.
