Duties: Advise on staffing needs and provide engineering oversight to ensure timely design and implementation of complex, large scale software systems according to object oriented principles. Define technical projects and oversee activities of team members, providing direction on project execution to ensure proper code reviews and contribute to core product. Provide input on staffing to build team and ensure quality of code and testing coverage to improve software quality. Oversee efforts to debug live production services.Requirements: Bachelor’ s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and two (2) years of experience in position offered, as Software Engineer, or related. Must have demonstrated experience in the following: Programming or applied mathematics; Utilizing algorithms and data structures to build software products; Object-oriented design principles; and Any three of the following: Database knowledge: SQL, ORM, NoSQL or SQLite; Debugging live production systems; Javascript, Python, Scala, C, C++, Ruby, Go, Haskell, Swift, Objective C, Typescript, or Java; Writing unit and integration tests for code and services; and/or Full stack application development. 40 hours/week; $202,000 - $258,000/year.
