During your 12-month post-doctoral placement, you will be entrusted to work on real projects on some of our most loved brands at our UK Innovation Centre in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. This project will be focused on the development of new, breakthrough cleaning technologies to boost performance of our Fabric & Home Care products. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong technical background and a passion for applying science to real-world cases to prove their capabilities.

Job Qualifications

  • A PhD in a scientific discipline, preferably with a heavy biochemistry, analytical chemistry or molecular biology element.

  • Academic excellence at all stages throughout school and university education with a passion for research and innovation.

  • Technical curiosity, creativity, innovation, initiative, communication, leadership and your collaboration skills.

  • Evidence of passion and achievements, particularly leadership, in academic and/or non- academic activities, short work experience or internships are a plus.
