Job Description

What you will do:

1. Full Stack design and development of embedded software for new products and maintenance of existing products, ensuring all business objectives are met.

2. Assist cross functional teams in proto-typing, designing, analysis, and testing.

3. Collect and track software defects ensuring that they are corrected in an efficient manner.

4. Document software requirements, design methodology, and validation results.

5. Participate in efficient and effective code reviews

6. Maintain revision control of the product software.

7. Represent the team in a positive and professional way.

8. Support production through problem solving and bringing added value by lateral thinking.

9. Drive continuous improvement within the group

Qualifications

Experience and Background:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related engineering field from an accredited university.

2. Experience in C/C++, C#, .NET Core, git/Bitbucket, JAVA,

3. Full Stack software development experience is required; Must have a strong background in application/client development, UI/UX implementation as well as back-end server interactions

4. Work experience in Linux environment, Android development, or mobile applications

5. Proven ability to complete assigned work on-time and on-spec.

6. Proven skills in engineering documentation, such as requirements documents, specifications, design reviews etc;

7. Demonstrated agility; Exercises judgment as to the need to move project forward vs. maintaining proper engineering discipline and structure.

8. Ability/Desire to work in a fast-paced environment; Works with a sense of urgency

9. Ability/Desire to learn new things

Preferred:

1. Background with Cloud Services and RESTful interface design and usage

2. Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines

3. Experience with board bring up solutions
