Rubrik Senior Manager (Monetization Strategy) in Palo Alto, California

About the Job:

Reporting to the Head of Monetization, Packaging and Pricing Strategy, you will strategize and execute on how we go to market with a product monetization and business model that is aligned with customer value.

Your work will directly and visibly contribute to our overall strategy and success. You will be tasked with developing solutions for complex business problems that are top-of-mind for our executives. We expect you to work collaboratively to gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, independently lead problem-solving, develop and package recommendations for presentation to management, support execution and manage a broad set of x-functional stakeholders, including the rest of Product, Marketing, Finance and Engineering. At every turn, our team will strive to uncover value and opportunities for the Business. Rubrik’s monetization team sits within product management and reports into Anneka Gupta, Chief Product Officer of Rubrik.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive business model strategy for core platform products and new markets.

  • Work with the rest of the product and engineering team to drive product monetization strategy.

  • Work cross-functionally to execute on new business models across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance teams.

  • Lead the operational execution and implementation of cross functional pricing & monetization decisions.

  • Be a player-coach that raises everyone’s capabilities around you.

About You (Your Impact)

You know how to drive monetization and business model strategy from a deep understanding of customers, markets and technologies. You are analytical and curious. You are skilled at financial modeling. You excel at distilling complexity into clear-cut, concise strategy, and are comfortable communicating this in written and visual form. You’re scrappy, get stuff done, and have a strong sense of ownership.

Qualifications include:

  • BA/BS degree, top MBA preferred but not required.

  • 6+ years of experience in pricing, management consulting, investment banking, product management or business operations.

  • Strong analytical skills, including translating financial models into executive-facing content.

  • Strong passion for technical products.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US Pay Range

$147,300—$220,900 USD
