Global Segment Director - Infrastructure - JR2416663

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: As the Global Segment Director for Infrastructure, you will have a pivotal role in shaping our segment's growth strategy. You will work closely with global and regional teams, you will drive business success by understanding customer needs, industry dynamics, and our competitive position. As the incumbent, you will be responsible for developing, articulating, and executing a compelling global growth strategy. You will report to the Global Platform Director of Protective Coatings.

Key Responsibilities  * Create a comprehensive segment strategy based on deep market insights and competitive intelligence.  * Ensure that our segment strategies and business plans align seamlessly with the broader organizational strategy, driving us toward defined targets.  * Coordinate efforts to ensure execution of segment strategies across regions.  * Work closely with commercial teams to achieve global sales and profit targets.  * Use your interpersonal skills to collaborate and influence in a matrix environment (cross-functional, cross-regional, and cross-SBU).  * Demonstrate ability to define, develop and execute new business opportunities.  * Ensure comprehensive coverage of key accounts within the segment.  * Lead the organization in executing successful product launches, positioning our offerings for maximum impact.

Qualifications  * Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, chemistry, business, or related degree.  * At least 10 years' experience in strategy, marketing, engineering, or sales within the chemical industry.  * Exposure to global business dynamics and the ability to drive implementation of required activities across all regions.  * Proficiency in gathering and analyzing market intelligence.  * Assemble and organize multiple sources of intelligence into a clear market assessment.
