JPMorgan Chase Software Engineer in Plano, Texas

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Develop, create, and modify general computer application software or specialized utility programs for financial institutions. Identify user needs and develop software solutions. Participate in user testing, identify critical processes for monitoring, and provide on-call support. Manage eCommerce infrastructure, software installation, and integration with business applications, user acceptance testing, and level III production support for intranet and internet application platforms. Participate in environment reviews. Infrastructure Product Engineering Lead, Ensure that solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Identify and troubleshoot application infrastructure issues, and provide documentation for operations. Lead Application and Infrastructure modernization and migrations to Cloud Technologies. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and application development team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: A three- or four-year Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Infrastructure Technician, Developer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Apache Tomcat; WebSphere; Web Server; Linux Admin; Messaging Protocols; Networking DNS; Firewall; SSL Certificates Management; SiteMinder; SAML; Shell Scripting; Identity Manager; and Web Content Management.

Job Location: 8181 Communications Parkway, Plano, TX 75024. . Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
