Hilcorp Energy Company 24-231.B - CMC Foreman in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska

Job Objective: Supervises the CMC department including contract maintenance disciplines. Manages the funding, planning, scheduling, resourcing, and execution of maintenance on process plants, well sites and field facilities and equipment. Responsible for providing estimates and tracking and managing maintenance and project costs. Contributes to felid wide prioritization of maintenance and small project activities. Responsible for maintenance and project schedule adherence and quality control. Provides visible leadership to company and contract employees involved in the above activities as well as Hilcorp and EHS culture.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for EHS, Schedule, Quality and Cost delivery of all assigned maintenance activities.
  • Manages and oversees a team in development of work plans for all assigned maintenance activities.
  • Research and orders repair and spare parts for machinery and process equipment.
  • Participates in the TAR strategy/outage strategy and planning team meetings as needed.
  • Facilitates discussions with facility leadership on work strategy and problem solving.
  • Responsible for contracting performance for assigned maintenance activities.
  • Responsible for cost control and reporting of all maintenance activities.
  • Responsible for the application of work management or TAR process where applicable.
  • Provides leadership and direction in response to emergency and upset conditions as necessary.
  • Monitors and reviews work order backlog and suggests prioritization of work.
  • Prepares estimates for approval of all assigned maintenance activities for funding and resourcing.
  • Responsible for scope control and ensures change requests and/ or financial requests are appropriately assessed and approved.
  • Responsible for development and implementation of maintenance quality control plans and measures.
  • Performs onsite audits of equipment readiness, processes and personnel competency to company and industry standards.
  • Adheres to leads a team in the company's values - integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment, and innovation.
  • Supports company vision and mission.

Other Job Responsibilities:

  • Participates on emergency response team for location.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years minimum experience in the maintenance of oil and gas production field equipment.
  • Experience in industry/ construction financial management.
  • Knowledgeable in the application small project management industry standards.
  • Ability to accurately solve problems.
  • Ability to work long hours in order to cover/monitor assigned field territory.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
  • Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
  • Computer skills to stay in communication and prepare and submit reports.

Education Requirements:

  • Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent; or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability, and skill to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
