About the Team

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Frontend Software Test Engineer to join our innovative team. As a Frontend Software Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, identify, and document defects, and provide valuable feedback to improve our software development processes. Engineering is the function that applies principles and techniques of engineering, mathematics, and computer/data science to the design, development, and testing of applications. The Product & Technology engineering family consists of software development, testing, database, devops, virtualization & network.

During the first six months, you will:

· Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and procedures for frontend applications.

· Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications.

· Collaborate with software engineers to identify test requirements and test scenarios.

· Execute test cases manually and automate where applicable to ensure the quality of the frontend software.

· Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing features.

· Document and track defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.

· Provide feedback and recommendations to improve software development processes.

Required Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

· 2 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on frontend testing.

· Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular framework: React.

· Experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright – preferred, Selenium, Cypress, or TestCafe.

· Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Good communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have:

· Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

· Knowledge of backend testing techniques and tools.

· ISTQB or similar software testing certification.
