Salary Range: $75k – $110k

Overview:

INTECON, LLC is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to support of Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Strategic Plan. This role is integral to documenting and disseminating key information, strategies, and operational procedures that underpin the success of DCSA's mission. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating clear, comprehensive, and concise documentation that supports organizational change, strategic planning, and project management activities within the agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain technical documents including manuals, procedures, reports, and plans that support DCSA's strategic objectives and operational requirements.

  • Work closely with project managers, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for documentation.

  • Utilize business process design, reengineering tools, and process mapping to document workflows and procedures.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Customer Experience Strategy by preparing engaging and informative content.

  • Assist in planning and facilitating meetings and training sessions by preparing briefing materials and presentations.

  • Support cross-mission integration initiatives and risk management projects by documenting processes, actions, and milestones.

  • Employ best practices in technical writing to ensure documents are user-friendly and accessible to all intended audiences.

  • Manage documentation repositories and version control systems to ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

  • Provide targeted communications planning and support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree is preferred. Will consider:

  • position related trainings and certificates in-lieu of a degree.

  • additional four (4) years of experience in-lieu of a degree.

  • Minimum of three (3+) years of experience in Technical Writing or related field.

  • Ability to perform functional duties independently.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a team environment.
