Description We are seeking a Billing Analyst to join our team in San Diego, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of billing processes. This includes preparing client invoices, reconciling billing discrepancies, and ensuring timely submission of invoices. You will also be using Deltek software for the majority of your tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Deltek software to prepare and process client invoices in accordance with project contracts and billing terms.

• Review project documentation, timesheets, and expense reports to accurately capture billable items.

• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure accurate and timely billing.

• Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve billing discrepancies or errors.

• Maintain up-to-date client billing information and ensure compliance with client billing requirements.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis related to billing activities.

• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving billing-related issues in a timely manner.

• Stay informed about industry best practices and changes in billing regulations to ensure compliance.

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Handle accounts receivable, billing functions, and collection processes efficiently. Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Thorough understanding of billing functions

• Familiarity with collection processes

• Proficiency in using Deltek software

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
