Job Description

Insight Global is seeking multiple FPGA Software engineers to join a growing team of space engineers in San Diego, CA. As this team is growing, all levels of talent from junior engineers to senior engineers are needed. This team in onsite five days per week and consists of 45 people, each with their own specialization to create cutting-edge space technology for some of the largest space companies globally. This person will have be responsible for working on existing and writing original VHDL code for FPGA design for several space projects at a time. They will have experience in a collaborative, technical environment working on the design, test, and integration of FPGAs. This person will be responsible for the full life cycle of coding development, testing, and documentation. This person will be excited to learn and grow as a part of the expanding team and have interest or past work experience in space.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Electrical/Software Engineering or related field

• 2+ years of experience in design, test, and integration of FPGAs

• 2+ years of experience with writing and working on existing VHDL code

• Ability to simulate and test VHDL or Verilog code

• Experience with documentation of coding

• Ability to collaborate and work with teams of hardware and software engineers throughout the full lifecycle

• Ability to obtain US Government Clearance - Experience working on space programs/satellites/space cams

• Experience designing radios or processors null
