Design mechanical components according to customer blueprints using Solidworks and CATIA; Optimize and prepare drawings for manufacturing products; responsible for process flow mapping associated with assigned manufacturing areas; troubleshoot daily production problems through root cause analysis (RCA) techniques as they occur; maintain Quality and Process documentation according to AS 9100 - Process Flow and Control plans; Investigate and implement cost reduction efforts through the suggestion and productivity improvement programs; organize the material flow, reduce lead time and obtain reduction in scrap by using Lean Management; respond to RFQs. Selectee will be required to undergo 3 months of employer provided aerospace parts training.
