Description

Robert Half is seeking a skilled and organized Bookkeeper to join a team in Santa Barbara! In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the health of our company's finances. You will be responsible for processing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and generating essential financial reports.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions (invoices, bills, payments)

• Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements

• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts

• Generate financial reports (balance sheets, income statements)

• Prepare reports for tax purposes (as needed)

• Assist with month-end closing procedures

• Stay up-to-date on bookkeeping best practices

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting preferred

• 1+ years of bookkeeping experience

• Proficient in bookkeeping software

• Strong understanding of accounting principles (debits & credits, double-entry accounting)

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
