Description We are seeking a Sr. Administrative Assistant in Short Hills, New Jersey. The role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously and proactively with professionalism and confidentiality. The successful candidate will be dependable and have a keen attention to detail. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Clergy in meeting their administrative needs, which includes responding to urgent and emergent issues, maintaining the Clergy’s calendars, scheduling appointments, facilitating all correspondence, and providing discretionary fund support.

• Provide administrative assistance for lifecycle events and holidays/religious services.

• Manage the pastoral process to ensure that clergy are informed of all pastoral situations.

• Support the clergy with their events and programs. This includes preparation/communication for yearly Israel trips, material creation, managing accounting processes, and communicating set up needs.

• Answering inbound calls in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring efficient communication within the organization.

• Manage scheduling and calendar management efficiently, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.

• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

• Use skills in problem analysis and resolution, demonstrating sound judgment and common sense. Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role such as Sr. Administrative Assistant or equivalent.

• Proficiency in answering inbound calls and managing high volume of calls effectively.

• Excellent skills in calendar management and scheduling, with the ability to prioritize and organize effectively.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to interact with various stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other office management tools.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Proven ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in Office Administration or relevant field will be a plus.
