EFI is looking for a Software Engineer to develop high-speed data communications interface between Fiery print controllers and print engines by writing kernel and user mode drivers for proprietary hardware.

Job Description:

Perform cross-platform development and bring-up new hardware. Analyze field defects escalated from our OEM partners and their customers, debug problems and provide software solutions to resolve them including debugging kernel-level code, debugging network-based (IP) applications, debugging problems with RIP (data processing) errors and debugging proprietary applications. Work with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Planning and Marketing to deliver high quality products on-time and on-budget.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

Relevant Coursework

  1. Data structures and algorithms for sorting and manipulating information.
  2. C/C++ Device Driver development, including Kernel-level debugging using WinDbg.
  3. Inter-process communications.
  4. Communications protocols for data transmission over TCP/IP.
  5. Operating system internals.
