Fluidra is seeking a Production Specialist to join the team at our Taylor Water Technologies location in Sparks, MD.

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

  • Set-up, load, assemble, label, pack or package, by hand or machine, a wide variety of products and materials for shipment or storage.

  • Perform sample quality inspections and input and retrieve data within an ERP system.

  • Accurately read, interpret and execute job instructions.

  • Set-up, load with raw materials, operate and monitor production line operations to ensure even flow of the product.

  • Perform sampling inspections to validate quality standards.

  • Remove, separate, document and report defective materials/products.

  • Label, package , and/or palletize finished product for storage or shipment as required.

  • Assist with training and directing temporary labor to execute production activities.

  • Document work completion via paperwork and computer entry.

  • Perform basic operator preventive maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure non-stop production.

  • Report defective equipment to the appropriate leader.

  • Monitor materials levels.

  • Resupply the production line and initiate restock notification in a timely manner to avoid work stoppage .

  • Perform additional duties as required and work extended hours when necessary.

    WHAT WE SEEK

  • Operation and maintenance of analytical tools and equipment

  • Proficient computer skills to navigate windows-based systems.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Certification/License: Able to certify to operate industrial trucks (forklifts)

  • English fluency, good mechanical reasoning aptitude and proficient basic math skills.

  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to operate Program Logic Controller (PLC) screens and input and retrieve date using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software

  • Ability to operate powered and non-powered industrial trucks and materials handling and packaging equipment. Ability to control the operation of equipment or systems.

  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools

  • Must be able to work safely and maintain a clean and organized work are at all time .

  • Able to work independently and in team environments with minimal supervision after training.

  • Possess good interpersonal skills and emotional control.

    Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work at a steady pace, while maintaining attention to detail, high accuracy/thoroughness.

  • Able to meet reasonable deadlines and adapt to frequent job order changes as necessary.

  • Able to problem solve and make enhancements applying use continuous process improvement techniques.

  • Physical Abilities: Possess visual clarity within 10 feet of the observer.

  • Ability to frequently and quickly distinguish between similar numbers and symbols.

  • Possess finger/manual dexterity, and arm-hand steadiness to quickly/precisely grasp/ manipulate

  • Regularly required to stand and walk continuously. For up to 10 hours, may use fingers, hands, arms, legs and feet to feel, handle grip, grasp, lift, operate, push or pull.

  • Safely lift by hand objects weighing up to 50 lbs carry objects up to 25lbs & push 2,000 lbs
