As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of engineers developing embedded software and algorithms for physiological sensors and patient monitors. Job Description

Responsibilities

• Attract and mentor a team of talented software engineers supporting their personal growth

• Foster a culture of ownership, common goals, collaboration, and delivering according to schedule

• Align team contributions to programs and organization priorities

• Work with experts to create technical solutions and roadmaps aligned with customer needs

• Collaborate with external partners in early stage technology development

• Drive excellence through continuous improvements in ways of working and tools

Qualifications and experience

• Leading teams developing embedded software or algorithms in high-quality software products

• Using modern software development processes, tools, and best practices

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills

• Ability to inspire, set clear expectations, coach, and build a positive and inclusive team culture

• Solution-oriented and curious mindset with passion for continuous learning

• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, and EU work permit

Desirable skills

• Master’s degree in the field of Software, Electronics, Biomedical, Physics, or equivalent

• Passion for technology and innovation with inner self-drive to solve challenges

• Experience hiring and developing top talent in highly effective engineering teams

• Experience improving software development process and tools

• Experience in any of these areas: medical devices, physiological measurements, sensors, algorithms, embedded software, RTOS, test automation, build & integration
