You will interact with software development, product management, and other UA developers to create and maintain Oracle Database documentation in an agile environment. You will partner with your Oracle teammates to develop documentation, create basic applications, curriculum, videos, infographics, and eLearning content for Oracle products.

We use authoring tools such as the SDL content management system, XML editors such as oXygen, Confluence, Markdown, video tools such as Camtasia, and other tools, to produce UA content. Our audience is a large, worldwide user community. Thus, to succeed, you must have exceptional English writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Experience developing DITA-based user, installation, and administration guides using XML authoring tools such as SDL, oXygen, Arbortext, or similar.

Sound knowledge of Database (relational and non-relational), GitHub, Markdown, HTML5, and PL/SQL or SQL.

DITA and topic-based writing.

Excellent command of the English language

Issue tracking and project management using JIRA and Confluence.

Proven track record in developing content for software or hardware products.

Experience leading content development projects to create product documentation, applications, and learning assets.
