Google Product Solutions Engineer, Order with Google in Singapore

Google will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Google's sponsorship of a visa.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3 years of experience working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).

  • 3 years of experience coding with a general purpose programming language (i.e., Java, C/C++, Python).

  • Experience with data analysis using SQL/MySQL, troubleshooting, and working with external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with and managing external partners/customers.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to various audiences.

  • Demonstrated thought leadership skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently to work with partners who speak Japanese.

Within gUPs Order with Google team, we enable high quality Food Ordering choices by growing the partner ecosystem at scale while providing exceptional support and solutions, and continuously improving the product as partner and user advocates. We maintain a technical partnership with our most strategic food partners and help them get the most out of our Food products, through technical consultancy, implementation support, and scaled support operations.

As a Product Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest food partners. You will collaborate with multiple teams like Engineering, Business Developemt, Product Management, etc. to leverage emerging technologies to onboard our partners. You'll work throughout the entire product and partnership lifecycle to onboard partners, create partner-facing tools to help streamline and automate partner integration and support, manage and drive partner success, and work with the product management and engineering team to integrate partner feedback into the consumer-facing product.

In this role, you will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's Food products, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Partnership teams to develop cutting-edge solutions, provide consulting services to our food partners, and build lasting relationships.

  • Help Food partners in their day-to-day challenges by being the subject matter expert, delivering innovative and scalable solutions and troubleshooting their technical issues.

  • Propose, design, create and present prototypes, demos and proofs-of-concept to a wide variety of audiences, from engineers to marketing professionals.

  • Perform implementation reviews. Advocate for new product features, and provide partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams including Product Management and Engineering.

  • Deliver Business Intelligence. Leverage internal and external data sources to provide data insights to drive decision making.
