Robert Half Dispatcher in Walbridge Nt, Ohio

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Dispatcher within the Construction/Contractor industry, located in Walbridge, Ohio. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who will be responsible for managing the efficient flow of goods, services and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.

The Service Dispatcher role involves coordinating service requests from customers, working closely with service technicians to manage their schedules and ensure timely completion of service calls, preventative maintenance, and service projects. Responsibilities include forecasting technician schedules, maintaining communication with both internal and external customers, utilizing service software for call setups and scheduling, assisting with purchase orders, creating service quotes, managing data from technicians' mobile applications, and collaborating with dispatchers for smooth operations. The position also requires resolving service call questions with accounting, updating open service calls, and supporting project coordinators and the Dispatch Supervisor. Key skills include strong organization, active listening, effective communication, adaptability, empathy, multi-tasking, calmness under pressure, attention to detail, follow-up, teamwork, interpersonal skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Requirements • Proficiency in using IBM AS/400 and Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.

• Prior experience in the Construction/Contractor industry as a Dispatcher is preferred.

• Familiarity with the About Time management system is desirable.

• Ability to effectively handle billing functions.

• Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.

• Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.

• Must be adept at multitasking and prioritizing tasks.

• Must have problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues efficiently.

• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various departments.

• Must be able to adapt to changing situations and work under pressure.

• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices is highly desirable.

• Must be able to demonstrate ethical and detail oriented behavior in all business interactions.

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Strong organizational skills to manage work schedules and dispatch orders efficiently.

• Ability to use technology effectively for communication and record-keeping.

• Willingness to undertake detail oriented development to improve skills and knowledge as required.
