Description:

Candidate will be working as a maintenance technician. Candidate will be training on 1st shift, and move to 2nd or 3rd shift. Candidates will be working on 80% mechanical maintenance of machines that are responsible for packaging bottles of chemicals. These include palletizers, conveyors, droppers, and other machines. Candidates must be strong mechanically with conveyors, hydraulics and air driven pumps. The other 20% of the job will be electrical maintenance. They also must be able to work electrically with pneumatics, motors (up to 3-phase) and wiring up to 480v - the electrical side can be trained. It would be nice for the candidates to have some welding experience as well, MIG, TIG and stick, and fabrication. Candidates must be strong with troubleshooting and repairs on the mechanical side. Any experience working in a packaging, chemical or labeling environment would also stick out on a resume, but is not required. Candidates will work the entire shift in the production area which does get warm in summer and cold in the winter. Will be working along side at least 1 other tech on each shift.

Must Haves:

1) Candidates must have at least 1 year of industrial plant mechanical maintenance experience

a) Ability to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on conveyor systems and pneumatic systems.

2) Candidates must have their own basic maintenance tools
